Ullal worked at Crescendo Communications as vice president of marketing. Crescendo was acquired by Cisco Systems in 1993 and Ullal served as vice president and general manager of LAN switching in the Enterprise group and oversaw more than 20 merges and acquisitions. She became Senior Vice President of Data Center & Switching. Ullal became CEO & President of Arista Networks in 2008. In 2014 she led the company to an IPO on the New York Stock Exchange (ANET). Ulla was ranked #30 on the inaugural Forbes list of America’s Richest Self-Made Women in 2015.
