The road was not wide enough for the machinery, so they built the house remotely, and then brought the parts in by truck. The trucks were unable to turn around, so they had to be airlifted by crane, in order to make it possible for them to go back down the mountain. No expense was spared in creating the luxurious log cabin. The total building cost of the house in 2012 was estimated at $4.6 million.
